Program Manager

Due to growth, we have opening for a Program Manager. This is a newly created position will be responsible for the strategy, development and implementation of business development programs as they relate to the project plan, team, and financials.

Responsibilities:

  • Meeting or exceeding quoted revenue, profit, project dates, and quality targets for business development projects and project launch activities.
  • Develop, mentor, and building a strong team in conjunction with the management team and CEO
  • Working directly with customers on current and future business development activities
  • Lead the implementation of new manufacturing initiatives, including strategic resource allocation, applying good manufacturing principles, organization structure, leadership, sourcing and integration, production systems and techniques for improved efficiencies and adherence to best practice
  • Ensuring a proper hand off of new projects occurs from implementation within the program managers group to sustainment within the operational and quality teams
  • Leading quotation of new business opportunities, as well as identifying and outlining additional resources, people, suppliers and capital equipment
  • Maintain a high quality consciousness and culture
  • Ensure compliance to all company systems, guidelines, and policies
  • Appraise performance of people directly reporting to this role
  • Lead organizational communication meetings on status of strategic projects and initiatives

Position Requirements:

  • College Degree with a technical focus-bachelors of engineering preferred
  • Minimum 10 years as a program or project manager
  • Minimum 5 years leading teams or people
  • Understanding of financial principals, justifications, and return on investment
  • Experience working within strong ISO quality management systems (automotive, medical, aerospace)
  • Experience working with integrated ERP/MRP systems
  • Strong leadership skills
  • Excellent communication and problem solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet external and internal deadlines
  • Strong customer service focus
