Manufacturing Engineer

Due to growth, we have opening for a Manufacturing Engineer. This person is responsible for the launch and daily management of the processes, products, equipment, people and customers in regard to the quality management system and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for all sustainment manufacturing process and equipment
  • Responsible for business development including the launch and development of new products, equipment and processes
  • Communication with customer, suppliers, and internal staff as it relates to the role
  • Drive continuous improvement of process, equipment utilizations, and quality of product
  • Leading cross functional teams related to engineering and operational activities
  • Supporting root cause and corrective action process
  • Execution of engineering changes
  • Development of process documentation (work instructions, process parameters, risk analysis
  • Dual responsibility (with the production supervisor) of equipment maintenance

Position Requirements:

  • Bachelors of science in engineering or equivalent engineering certifications
  • Experience with CNC programming, machining processes, and equipment
  • Experience in launching new products and/or processes a plus
  • Knowledge of process capability, problem solving methods, and root cause/corrective actions
  • Familiar with ISO 9001 (internal auditor certifications and/or ISO 13485 familiarity a plus)
  • Ability to work well with cross functional teams, be self-managed, and directed from a satellite operation
  • Detailed oriented 
  • Great communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
  • The position will require some travel (USA and Canada)
