Due to growth, we have opening for an experienced Material Handler that will ensure safe handling of materials and finished goods while working to receive and ship product accurately and on time.
Major Duties:
- Pick, package, label, and load daily shipments to customers
- Unload daily deliveries
- Move raw materials within the facility to pre-determined locations
- Move finished goods within the facility to pre-determined locations
- Work directly with administrative staff on incoming deliveries and outgoing shipments
- Work directly with production supervisor on production statuses and daily priorities
- Ensure that all raw materials and finished goods are stored within the proper locations
- Ensure that storage and movement of materials is done with safety procedures and guidelines
- Staging materials for production equipment
Position Requirements:
- Must have a minimum of 2 years prior material handling experience
- Must have basic math skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to keep a positive attitude while working in a fast-paced environment
- Technical analysis and problem-solving ability
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule as needed
- Team Player
- High School Diploma
- Physical ability to lift 50 lbs
